Persistence Pays Off
The other day, Yessidey made a subtle hint to me: “Hey papi, U2 is coming to Dallas.”
I am ignorant and didn’t catch on: “That’s great babe.”
Subtle changed to poignant: “Well honey, did you know, one of my dreams has always been to see U2 in concert?”
I brushed it off. She conveniently has a million items on her always-wanted-to-do-or-see list.
Then I got a call while she was at work mentioning that a co-worker was selling a pair of tickets for only $75 each. That was immediately followed with the suggestion/challenge to find better seats cheaper. She is persistent.
So here we go. I guess we can check off another item from her list.
Monday night at 7:00 pm.

So could I print that out and go as long as I showed up before you?

I originally had the barcode off… Looks like it was changed. Now I feel lucky that Yessi and I BOTH made it in!
